Welcome to ArizonaBadminton.com, a place for badminton players of all ages and abilities to learn all there is about the great sport of badminton. We have great articles on getting into badminton as well as conditioning and training tips that will help you progress in the sport.

Our blog is a place to keep up to date with the badminton happenings of our home in Phoenix, Arizona. While not quite the badminton capital of the USA, we do have a number of dedicated players and clubs and a rather competitive girls high school circuit.

While the expressed purpose of this site is to spread badminton news and promote the sport in the Phoenix, Tucson, and Flagstaff areas of Arizona, this site also serves as a hub for organizing local badminton leagues for friendly and competitive play. Most badminton across the US is played individually in club settings. Competitive team play usually only occurs at the high school or collegiate level; rarely open to everyone. At ArizonaBadminton.com, we feel a bit differently about this. We believe that badminton has a lot of team-oriented potential and that competition can and should be explored in every manner possible. As such, we are promoting the creation of local teams and league play.
